Meet Cheryl

Cheryl SingsankI practice and teach Mindful Yoga, where mindfulness is a state of open attention on the present.

Cheryl has practiced yoga for over 20 years.  She began teaching after completing a 200 hour instructor training in 2005. She practices Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga with an emphasis on Mindful Yoga and continues to study Yoga, Mindfulness and Meditation thru various workshops and retreats.

She holds a Master’s degree in Health Education from the University of Maryland and Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Commercial Recreation from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.

Cheryl’s instruction incorporates her wellness background to support her students in their own over-all health and well-being. Please join her for an opportunity to become more present through the physical and mindful practice of yoga.
